Location
Chicago, IL during the Chicago Air and Water ShowTime
It was early afternoonLighting
It was very sunny so everything was very well lit, but thus there were a lot of contrast tooEquipment
I used my first DSLR -- Nikon D60 with a 200mm lensInspiration
I love airplanes so I wanted to capture the beauty of these flying machines in motionEditing
I added some dramatic effect to make the clouds of smoke pop out a bit. I also increased saturation and contrastIn my camera bag
Usually I carry my Nikon D7000 with me along with a 18-105mm, 35mm, and 55mm lenses.Feedback
When I'm shooting moving objects I always take a ton of shots. On this particular occasion I filled a 32 Gb card solely with jpgs in a few hours. The hardest part is finding the perfect shot later among all the other similar ones.
