I took this photo in mount Aragats (Armenia) on may 2010Time
It was early in the morning, as we start climbing when it was completely darkLighting
In fact, the sun was not in a very good position for this photo, but it was also not opposit of the camera, and give me a chance to make a nice compositionEquipment
I use my old Sony DSC F-828 camera, which is not with me anymore :(Inspiration
We were hiking with 3 friends, one after each other, and suddenly I notice the nice footsteps of my friend, walking in front towards the summit and decide, that it could be a nice capture to show our way to summit...Editing
As usual, I did very little post-processing, only improving little bit contrast and white balance. That's it.In my camera bag
Usually I have my Canon 5D mark 2 with it's 24-105 L class lense, Gitzo tripod with Manfrotto ball-head, some flash, batteries and that's it.Feedback
If you like to be an adventure traveler-photographer, you should understand, that your backpack will be more havier than your friends, your hands will be freezing much more, than your friends, and you will not be in a lot of photos as your friends, but instead, you will do a great shots of a great nature, of a challenge of your friends and finnaly be proud with the shots, which you created during those hard conditions... Believe me, it's the most important and great prize for that difficulties you will have on your way......
