There was a fire at this location this week. I think the penthouse was gutted at the time. Heartbroken I am. It was such a beautiful apartment :(

"Adult content" !? Rien de choquant ou scabreux... Il y aurait pas chez vous quelques personnes un peu trop prudes !?

Location
In the Penthouse at the Obel Tower in Belfast.Time
Around about 6pm on a wet and stormy summers afternoon. Some time after the worst of the storm.Lighting
This is all natural light. I was metering for another shot. But I loved the silhouette I was getting just the way it was.Equipment
Erm. It would have been my Canon 650d. I think it was the 18-55 ef-s kit lens. The f3.5 one. Nothing special. This was hand held. And no flashes were used.Inspiration
The beautiful view and the beautiful naked model standing before me. What other inspiration would I need.Editing
The original image was a little over exposed. This was corrected in Lightroom to darken down the subject and really bring out the details of the background. Originally shot in colour, but I changed it to b&w as I thought it looked more effective. In my camera bag
Nowadays, Canon 6D. Still carry the Canon 650d as a backup. Mostly standard zoom lenses. Again nothing fancy. Shoot a lot on my canon 6D with a canon 50mm f1.8. But I use a couple of old Olympus wide angle manual lens to shoot street photography or the night sky, using an adapter to fit the canons. If I'm shooting boudoir or some glamour, I like to shoot on a mamiya C3 medium format camera. The image quality is just superior to any digital kit I own. And I like to experiment with mixed media, and photo manipulation.Feedback
1. Have an idea of what you want to capture 2. Think about how you're going to shoot it. 3. Practice ahead of time (so your not wasting your money on models, when you don't need them) 4. Perfect the shot ahead of time, so that you get it first time on the day. 5. Enjoy yourself, it's not a bad life, when you do it right :)
