I am fortunate enough to live about 20 miles from a Wildlife Refuge called Turpentine Creek which provides lifelong refuge and care for Big Cats.
The Fire Dept where I am a fire-fighter, donates old fire hose to Turpentine which they make into hammocks and even slides for the animals they care for.
This was my first visit and after dropping off the hose, I paid my entry fee and finding myself to be the only visitor at that time, was treated to a one on one guided tour - Simply AMAZING
