Location
This is a relatively old picture. It was taken in 2005 during a holiday to Cornwall.Time
It was taken during the afternoon on a bright day. Usually not the best time to take pictures, but I just liked this view and the detail it contained.Lighting
It was a bright day, usually the most difficult lighting to deal with, but more by luck than judgement I seem to have got it right.Equipment
It was taken on a PENTAX *ist DL2. It was when I was just getting into photography and this was the first DSLR that I ever owned.Inspiration
I wanted the view. There's nothing deep and meaningful about this, it's a nice view, classic postcard type shot.Editing
At the time (August 2005) I was still learning and so was shooting in jpeg. This is how it came out of the camera. In my camera bag
I now have a Canon 5D MkIII and a Canon 7D in case of a problem. I have four main lenses: a wide angle zoom lens 17-40mm, a Canon 24-105mm, a Sigma 70-500mm and a Canon 50mm (f1.8)Feedback
There are times when you simply point and shoot and this was one of them. Don't over think what you are doing, trust your instinct as to what is going to look good.
