Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken from the southside of the thames looking across to St Pauls

Time

This was on a winter evening after work when there shorter daylight hours and longer nights

Lighting

Lighting is done with all artificial lights of the streets and buildings reflecting in the water

Equipment

Camera Lens Tripod Remote Filter

Inspiration

Part of my photography is going out doing Long Exposures, and this particular evening was another occasion of wondering around london setting up tripod at different locations and capturing some shots

Editing

altered the white balance to cooler temp added a vignette adjusted the saturation of individual colours added contrast and clarity

Camera lens remote tripod spare batteries spare memory cards cleaning cloths filters

Feedback

tripod is a necessary or something sturdy to support your camera a remote is an ideal thing to have but can be done without look for reflections water (if possible) around iconic buildings or structures take time to compose your shot
