Behind The Lens

Location

Aruba, I was on vacation with my family.

Time

It was probably around 7ish. We were coming back from having dinner.

Lighting

The lighting was just a perfect natural glow.

Equipment

The photo was taken with a Canon 80D, I also used a tripod.

Inspiration

Just the idea that I was in a tropical island. Having never photographed a sunset as spectacular as this with these beautiful surroundings. Somehow I already knew this was going to be inspiring.

Editing

Being that I shoot in raw, I do some post-processing to develop the colors loss and to enhance some details. I use Corel Panitshop Pro editing software.

In my camera bag

Normally I carry my camera and some type of tripod. It all depends on if I already know what I'm going to photograph. So I would only bring what equipment I think should be needed.

Feedback

Learn to experiment with shooting different settings and surroundings. It also helps to have a tripod handy. Photographing some outdoor scenery settings can require a tripod, depending on the time of day (like night time).
