Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the roof of a friend's house. We had planned for a steel wool fireworks long exposure photoshoot.

Time

We kept shooting the whole night till dawn because we needed absolute darkness all around

Lighting

This is a composite image. The main shoot with steel wool fireworks had no other light source than the fireworks itself. The wizard was shot using home lighting.

Equipment

The fireworks was a long exposure shot , so tripod was used.

Inspiration

Light painting is an intriguing category of photography in itself. After shooting that, I was inspired by Marvel's Dr Strange and how the wizards come and go in those movies. So this an attempt to recreate that. Hence the image is titled Strange Appearance.

Editing

Post processing includes compositing the two shots- the fireworks and the wizard.

Just my canon 700D and 55-250 lens
