Behind The Lens

Location

Leto and I took this Pictures on the stairs in front of my house. The stairs are almost the whole day in the shade.

Time

It was early afternoon on a cloudy day.

Lighting

because of the stairs are in the shade any way and the clouds the light was very soft. furthermore, tall bushes are growing to the left and right of the stairs and hide the stairs from direct sunlight. this leads to a relatively dark background and a bright front.

Equipment

I used my EOS 5DsR, a Sigma 50/1.4 Art lens and a reflector lying between me and Leto on the ground

Inspiration

I wanted to make a quiet portrait with a dark background. For the clothing we chose a rebellious Outfit. Leather jacket and pants with shiny shoes.

Editing

I added contrast, pushed micro contrast, made the vignette more visible and converted the image to black and white

In my camera bag

In my bag there is usually my camera, 2 zooms (16-35/4 IS & 70-200/2.8 II IS) and the following fixed lenses: 24/1.4, 35/1.4, 50/1.4, 85/1.2. My bag is pretty big and heavy

Feedback
