This image was taken while camping in the Gawler Ranges, South Australia. The tree is lit up red by another fire behind the camera. The smoke was lit up by me after i pressed the shutter, i ran around with a torch and lit the smoke up from the right side.

Behind The Lens
Location
Beside a salt lake near the Gawler Ranges in outback South AustraliaTime
It was taken at about 10pm at night.Lighting
The tree was lit on fire by a bunch of rowdy drinkers at a bonfire. The red glow is from a very large bonfire behind me and i borrowed one of the drinkers torches to light up the smoke from the side. He was a bit grumpy with me for running his torch flat but when he saw the photo he figured it must have been worth it.Equipment
Nikon D7200 on tripod with a wode angle lens. I think its was my 10-17mm, but cant quite remember.Inspiration
The conditions were right. There were a bunch of people camping with us, and i wanted to show off a bit. It was fun, we had quite a few people getting into it while i was shooting.Editing
Yes, there was a trailer left to the side which i couldnt quitr mamage to avoid being in the photo, it couldnt be moved at the time either. So i had to remove it. There is also the basic adjustments done.In my camera bag
