Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in museum in Riga, Latvia. I remember it was a cold winter day and i was looking for something to shoot indoors. This staircase was just mindblowing and i already knew how i wanted it to appear in my shot.

Time

Like i said, cold, windy, basically freezing latvian winter day

Lighting

this was all natural lighting coming from the windows and lamps on the walls, yes, this was shot using tripod.

Equipment

Canon 600d, with kit lens and tripod

Inspiration

Riga is full of suprises and this was first attempt to train in street photography

Editing

not much, just tweaked iso, blacks and contrast

In my camera bag

just my canon 600d with kit lens, 70-200, and a fisheye, plus two strobes if im going for skateboarding shoots

Feedback

just wander around and try to find some great architecture in your city, you will be suprised what you can find, also try geocaching, that helped me a lot
