Behind The Lens

Location

In Art Nouveau Museum on Alberta Street. Housed in a stunning building erected in 1903, the museum is located in the former apartment of its architect Konstant?ns P?kš?ns

Time

If I remember right it was an overcast gray winter day.

Lighting

I was lucky that this staircase had windows, if not, there would be a significant need for a flashlight...

Equipment

At that time I was using Canon 600D with an 8mm fisheye lens.

Inspiration

I have always been looking at those photos of staircases and leading lines, it just feels hypnotic.

Editing

I turned the photo black and white as I wanted viewers just to feel the "warp" without any distractions.

In my camera bag

My to-go setup are Canon 6D with 50mm f1.4 or 70-200 f.4, on the other hand, if I know that I will be in narrow spaces like this staircase I'm going with 600D and 8mm fisheye, no doubt in there

Feedback

Just do it... get inspired by works of others and work for those epic shots!
