I take photos as a hobby hopeful to progress into taking classes and so on. This photo was taken on Moffatt Creek Trail in Cambridge Ontario. There is a boardwalk and beautiful path where I get my inspirations and photos!Time
I captured this photo in the early afternoon.Lighting
I like the deep red against the wood. The transparency of the wings but still seeing them.Equipment
I used my andoid cell phone which has an amazing camera. I dont own a camera but working on saving up for one to widen my abilitiesInspiration
I use photography as a meditation. I suffer from mental illness and sometimes it overpowers my ability to focus so I will go for a walk and just surround myself with the peacefulness of nature. It helps calm me and relaxes me to where I can continue on. I was out an saw hundreds of dragonflies. My mom loves dragonflies.when I asked her why it really touched me. " I love how they are water bugs and their life cycle and how they struggle to become a dragonfly It's like life and the struggles I have been through in my life and how I have become the person I have become bc of the struggles to get here where I am today"Editing
No processing at all. The picture I shot is the picture you seeIn my camera bag
Right now I only own my cellphone as my camera has failed me. But that doesnt stop me from capturing my perfect shotFeedback
Capture what touches you. You eyes...your heart... Focus on what you find beautiful...what captures you.
