This beautiful flower was taken in my home. I am a self-taught photographer that took interest in photography as a form of meditation that turned into my favourite thing to do!!Time
This was taken on one of the BEST days of the year!! Mothers day!! My daughter in law to be and grandkids gave me a bouquet of beautiful flowers and i just loved how when i took the picture it looked like a pink cardinal... it made me think of my dad who suddenly passed away 5 years ago.. it was actually a very touching moment. It sure did put a smile on my face and warm my heart though..Lighting
I wanted a darker background so you could really clearly see the flower pop. I feel it wouldve been too busy with a coloured background.Equipment
The only "equipment" I used was a black sheet for the backdrop, my cell phone camera... So a Samsung 10. As well i used my lightroom app just to put some finishing touches on it.Inspiration
There are 2 reasons I took this photo... 1.) I'm a self-taught, learn as you go, memory making lil lady and I love taking photos of nature and flowers and everything thats natural on this earth. Of course family and friends etc.. HOWEVER.... 2.) I noticed each flower looked like there was a cardinal perched in the middle of them. Noone else could really see it and thought i was just being funny until I zoomed in and took the picture. They all saw just how correct i was lolEditing
I used lightroom just to clear it up abit and brighten up the colourIn my camera bag
I unfortunately do not have a bag or any equipment as of yet!! Ive had ALOT of complications the past 5 years with every aspect of life so as of now, i havent been able to afford to purchase any equipment let alone even a camera to start off with. I do however, HOPE & PRAY that this year I will be able to..Feedback
Just have fun with what you do! Make sure its something youre passionate about. Never give up!! No matter how many times you have to click the shot and re-focus, youll get it. Love what you do!
