Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in our garden.

Time

Image was taken in the afternoon about 15h00.

Lighting

Natural sunlight was used.

Equipment

This macro image was shot with a Nikon film camera with a Nikon macro lens. I used Fuji Velvia 50ASA chrome film. A tripod was used and Natural light. The garden was watered and therefore the water drops.

Inspiration

Getaway magazine, South Africa ran a theme competition: "Water". This inspired me to enter. I was fortunate to win the competition.

Editing

I just spotted the image. Fuji Velvia 50 ASA had great saturated colors. There wasn't any need for retouching.

In my camera bag

These days I only shoot with a 5DmarkIII accompanied with a 24-105mm f4/L IS USM, 16-35mm f4/L IS USM, tripod.
