As a nature admiror, I always loved dandelions. Years before i was taken a similar picture with a Canon Powershot Camera but handheld and with very bright sunlight, using spot metering, that creates the "black background". I loved the result and makes me try again with better equipment.Editing
This picture was post processed with Lightroom. The only "non real" effect is that I undersaturated greens to zero, to create the "black background", that I could not take with this soft light...In my camera bag
When I am camping at Atlantic Forest, at most I go with a small Tripod, and three lenses: a 70-300mm Sigma with Macro switch, a Canon 10-22mm wide angle and the Canon 50mm Compact Macro. Sometimes i go with a Samsung NX 10 camera with a 20mm and 30mm pancake lenses...Feedback
At most, to take great macro photography, is mandatory a tripod. To create a dramatic view, I like to shoot the subject at the minimal focus distance from the lens in this case, 9.06".
