the clouds create a cool feeling of being in a tunnel, especially with the cool light in the distance

Location
I took this shot in the Mojave Desert in California during the winter months in 2010.Time
It was later in the day around 4:00 PMLighting
It was natural light with a mostly cloudy sky.Equipment
I shot this with my Nikon D70 with my Nikkor 18-70 kit lens. This was hand held and no flash. I believe my ISO was 200.Inspiration
I camp quite a bit in the desert and this time we had some weather coming in. The clouds were getting more dramatic as the day progressed. I took this shot from another angle at first then realized that if I moved to the dirt road I could put the road going into the tunnel in the clouds.Editing
There was a small amount of post processing because this photo was originally a little too dark. I brought up the brightness and exposure in I Photo as this was my only processing program. In my camera bag
Now a days I have become a equipment junkie. I have eight lenses and two cameras (A Nikon D7000 has been added) with numerous other accessories that I take with me. If I am hiking I have a smaller bag that I can carry 3 lenses with my camera and my tripod.Feedback
The only advice I can give someone is to get the shot you have to be there. Get out and go after whatever type of shot you want to capture. Even making mistakes is better than wishing you had gotten out but didn't.
