Location
This photo was taken in Ellington CT.Time
I took this photo at the end of a long day of shooting at sunset.Lighting
I loved the way the sun created a halo around the tree.Equipment
This was taken with my Pentax istDL and my Tamron 28-120 lens.Inspiration
I passed this tree twice a day on my way to and from work. The sunset seemed perfect that day so I turned down a side road and walked around the tree until I saw the perfect shot.Editing
In Photoshop CS I cropped and lightened the photo. Then I used the clone tool to get rid of some power lines that ran through the middle, Then I used the poster edge tool to enhance the halo effect around the tree.In my camera bag
I normally carry my Pentax K7 with the kit lens, my Tamron zoom, a Pentax 80-320 zoom, my 100mm macro and my 200mm telephoto.Feedback
If you have been shooting all day and are tired, if you see that one more perfect photo and drive by the scene, you will always regret it,
