One of the best moons to photograph because the light is hitting it from an angle, this give much more detail in the shadows around the craters and mountain peaks. I did not use my usual moon filter because I wanted to see what the d3200 could catch unfiltered. I was pleasantly surprised by the different colors it picked up on the basaltic plains. especially where Mare Tranquillitatis (Sea of Tranquility) spills over into Mare Serenitatis (sea of Serenity).
