Orange sunrise over Perce' Rock in Quebec, Canada. Perce' Rock is a huge rock formation in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence on the tip of the Gaspe' Peninsula in Quebec. One of the eight wonders of the world, it is one of the world’s largest natural arches in water and it is considered a geologically and historically rich natural icon of Quebec. It is one of the major attractions in the area. During low tide, it is possible to walk to Perce Rock; it is connected to the mainland at Rue du Mont-Joli by way of a sandbar. We were going do do this, but ran out of time. ©Copyright 2002 Lorraine Palumbo. All Rights Reserved.
