I was finally fortunate enough to get to see and photograph moose in the water, with mountains in the background, and a gorgeous sunset. And to top it off, there was a baby moose as well!

Location
This photo was taken at Grand Teton National Park, at Schwabacher Landing.Time
I took this photo right as the sun was setting. i did not have my tripod, as I was not really expecting much to happen in that moment, but as I was walking up the beginning of the trail, I noticed a few people looking excitedly in the brush across the stream. Then, out came the mama moose and her baby, so I just leaned up against a tree to stable myself as best as possible, and started snapping away.Lighting
The lighting was pretty low, as it was right at sunset, but with the mountains blocking the sun, it was even less light coming through.Equipment
I was using my Canon EOS R5 with a 15-35mm f2.8 lens.Inspiration
I've seen this spot and many iterations of photos taken here with the Tetons in the background and a moose grazing in the stream, so it's been one of my must get bucket list photo opportunities for years.Editing
I always shoot in RAW, so there was some shadows and lighting enhancements, along with removing some noise, to get the best possible details to pop out.In my camera bag
I always have my camera, my 15-35, 180mm macro, and 100-500 super telephoto lenses with me.Feedback
Patience. I've gone to this spot just about every morning and night that I've been in the Tetons to try and capture a moose/mountains/sunset/reflection shot, and there was a ton of "dissapointments", but my persistence paid off.
