Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a location called in English the "Red Soil Terraces" about 4 hours from my home in Kunming China. We left early in the morning to get out and spend as much time as possible to explore and photograph. This place is always changing in colors which makes it a favorite destination for photographers.

Time

This photo was taken in the late afternoon when the sun wasn't so strong. I had one battery left for my DJI Phantom 4 and decided to make one final flight before heading home.

Lighting

Great light to shoot with!

Equipment

DJI Phantom 4 with a 5 shot bracket!

Inspiration

I love the lines of the terraced landscape and the colors from the different crops the farmers grow at certain times of the year. It's a creators paradise!

Editing

I always use Lightroom for all my photos.

In my camera bag

The equipment i always carry in my bag is a Canon 6D with a 24-105mm lens, 16-35 wide-angle lens, 50mm lens, DJI Phantom 4 drone, too many batteries, Carbon tripod, sore back!

Feedback

My advice is to always have fun in whatever you are trying to shoot.
