Appreciating and being grateful to the past, present, & future generations of all Native Nations & Indigenous Peoples, whole ancestral lands we explore, visit and play. Please always impose a LEAVE NO TRACE ethic on your exploration, adventures, & expeditions. Follow local regulations. Love the only planet we have. Please do not trash her. Now, the latest unfortunate trend has been for people dumping the RV waste tanks any place they wish. That's just wrong!

This photo was taken in Haverstraw, New York, USA when me and my husband visited my sister living in the area.Time
It was taken during our Lunch time. We went to one of the Italian Restaurants in the area and as part of our desert after eating our meal my hubby ordered this for our dessert. It is funny though because I am not so much into eating desserts but my husband is so we had it. Sometimes, I just taste a spoonful. This one I was attrated with how they prepared it and it was so appealing and tasty for me. However, when I was about to get my first spoonful I asked my hubby that I will photograph it first.Lighting
Natural lighting from the window of the restaurant.I tiltled my camera to lessen all the clutters and to focus more attention to the Red Velvet cake.Equipment
My canon 5DS camera and Canon EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM, then I handhold my camera to get the angle that I want.Inspiration
First, I feel envious to those food photographers because they really capture the beauty and taste of the food they are taking photos with. So, every time we eat in the restaurants I maximize it and thinking that restaurants prepared the food very nicely for you to look at and taste. So our visiting to any restaurants really my opportunity to capture foods. Sometimes, we need to sacrifice really especially if we are so hungry already. I need to captured food before we will eat it. It works for me and my husband.Editing
This photo I adjusted the light, the warmth, crop a little and thats it!In my camera bag
If we are really taking a vacation I am bringing always my 2 cameras the Canon 1DX and of course the Canon 5DS. I usually put my Canon EF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM Lens into my 1DX camera, then I have my 16-35mm, Canon Trigger Release.Feedback
Be mindful of the food you will be eating in restaurant. Capture their beauty and taste. Though you are already hungry but you need to capture them first.
