Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was shot in Cra 7, Bogota - Colombia

Time

It was around noon, a rain shower started and this women was staying at the entrance of a shop

Lighting

Dark sky and rain, so I was asking the lady to take a photo, she agreed and I use the available light

Equipment

Fuji X100F, it's a fix lens, 22 mm (35mm on fullframe), I often take street portraits with this one, you have to get close and talk to the people to make them feel well

Inspiration

I was on the opposite side of the street when I saw her staying at the entrance of the shop no to get wet during the rainshower. I needed to take that photo when I saw her, a street character photo, she agreed.

Editing

Like with all my photos I use Lr and Nik filters

In my camera bag

Street photos are usually taken with the Fuji X100F, I own also a Fuji XT2 with various lenses.

Feedback

As I said, for street portrait, get close, look for the best light available, talk to the people to make them feel good before taking the shot.
