Location
I took this shot in the street in front of my best friends new house her and her husband bought th weekend after there wedding.Time
This shot was created mid afternoon around noon. Before we took our trip up too Pennhurst Asylum in Pennsylvania.Lighting
My only focus on lighting was too get the colors of the autumn leaves along with not getting the yellow painted line too bright.Equipment
Camera: Nikon D5500 Lens: nikkor 40mm Other: LensballInspiration
My inspiration came from looking at all the photos on Instagram of people who use lensballs for abstract photography. I used the inspiration of landscape photography as well too mix the two for more of a abstract landscape photographyEditing
I don’t really have a computer too so any kind of editing, but with the Nikon D5500 I can connect through the WiFi on the camera with my iPhone 7 too upload it. After uploading I do small edits using the adobe lightroom app.In my camera bag
I typically carry my Nikon d5500 along with my three lens. AF-S DX Micro Nikkor 40mm f/2.8G, AF-S DX Nikkor 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G, and AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VRII. Now after this shot my lensball goes every where with me.Feedback
When trying too capture something like this I would say the only thing you need too do is be open minded about the idea, be open too taking different angles and adapt too the surroundings. When in the middle of the road make sure you stay aware of cars as well have someone with you. One item iv recently acquired is a polarizer lens attachment that helps a lot of glare from above or surrounding light. But the biggest thing is too be creative and take your time thinking about what you want too see as a final outcome and if it doesn’t come out the first time try again until you are satisfied with your self. Even if you don’t get what you wanted you can still turn something you don’t like into something amazing.
