Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the studio from the photography class I took.

Time

In this case, the time of the day is irrelevant, as I took this photo in the studio, with the help of artificial lighting.

Lighting

I used two artificial continuous lights on the sides of my model. No flash. Black background.

Equipment

For this hot I used this equipment: Camera: NIKON D5100 Aperture: f/3.2 ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/500 Focal Length: 500/10 No tripod. No flash. 2 continuous artificial lights.

Inspiration

My inspiration for this shot was the good mood my model had and the fact that she has very long and beautiful hair.

Editing

As I always shoot raw, post processing is a requirement. But the post production I did was minimal, basic corrections (white balance, exposure, background darkening).

In my camera bag

I own Nikon D610, Nikon D7100 and Nikon D5100 body cameras, Yongnuo YN568ex and 2 YN685ex flashes (all HSS), and following lenses: 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens, 55-200mm f4-5.6, 50mm f1.8 prime lens, 35mm f1.8 prime lens, Samyang 8mm f3.5 cs fisheye lens, Helios 58mm 44/2 m42 mount, Industar 50mm f3.5 m42 mount, adapter for m42, cleaning kit, tripod, umbrella softbox.
