Behind The Lens

Location

Cochin, Kerala, India. I was in a old coconuts fiber carpet factory.

Time

In the afternoon.

Lighting

I love the low light in the outdoor street situations. In this case the light come behind me just on the main subject.

Equipment

Canon EOS 6d with EF 24 f1.4 L II USM

Inspiration

I'm always looking for street situations where the people works. In this case I found the perfect combinations of subject, light, mood and environment. I had only to choose the composition and set the camera before the click.

Editing

Yes sure, I worked on contrasts, light, point of black, sharpness on Lightroom before to finish my work flow on Silver Efex for B&W conversion.

Feedback

I suggest to use prime lenses for capture in this kind of light situations. The open diaphragms are the best way to isolate the subject from the environment. Is important also to go near to the subject and I love the wide lens in this kind of street photograph.
