If you do not live in a snow belt and have never seen what blizzard conditions are like, this early morning shot might give you and idea of what the city has to offer just so motorists can use the road. Many people drive these snow ploughs, moving a foot or more of snowfall from the road surface, otherwise the snows' iciness and stickiness would prevent safe driving. As it rutted from car wheels it might also ice into tough, knobby ridges of ice, which would divert most traffic, causing disasters of all kinds.
