Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in a very popular Dutch place called Kinderdijk where many vintage windmills are located. Real museum of windmills under the open sky.

Time

The shot was taken at noon almost. Sun was strong that much that I was worried to do not overexposed the shot.

Lighting

Nothing special I would say. Very easy to get nice sharp shot because of the part of the day.

Equipment

I did use my old fellow means NIKON D90 and Sigma 17-70. No tripod or any other special tools were used in that case.

Inspiration

I was traveling with my family just to have a fun and make some pictures of this nice dutch place.

Editing

In that particular shot, I enhanced colors, use some color filters to give warm condition to reflect what I saw that time. And of course, vignette to let the recipient concentrate on the windmill.

In my camera bag

Well, I use my second fellow during my travels means case logic backpack. Nothing special inside. I am not professional. So, I use one set: NIKON D90 + Sigma 17-70. That's enough. Of course not forgetting about the snacks.

Feedback

Wherever you go take the camera with you. They are saying that we have golden hours to make the pictures. Maybe, but I do not stick to this so often. Traveling often with my family only, taking every chance to make the shot. Simply, try to make as many shots as possible in every time of the day. Think about the shot before. What crop, a position you are going to use. That will make your life easier. Do not lose the opportunity. There is never again the same condition. And remember that's not the equipment is making you the photographer. That's you, only you. Limited equipment is making you more creative. So, go, take the shots and share them with others.
