Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in the oven in my kitchen. It was the most alien place I could think of at home.

Time

Probably taken in late afternoon with sunlight coming through the window.

Lighting

I wanted it to be fairly dark, the oven is like a mini cave. The door slightly reflects some alien hand.

Equipment

Nikon D7100 Nikkor dx afs 18-105. Lens

Inspiration

Displaying these aliens had been an awkward task as they are very heavy. They were nailed to the wall but sat precariously . It must have been a rainy day or something because I was stuck at home. And I think my imagination ran away and had some fun.

Editing

I think I added a little darkness and covered some cooking spots with blemish corrector. If only we could photoshop our ovens clean.
