Absolutely breath taking. I so look forward to travel photography. You just catch things that people only dream of. In this way, we can make dreams come true...even for a short while. Wish I was there.

Location
The photo was taken at the peak of Erg Chebbi, Morocco. We had traveled from Erfoud in a 4 by 4 for the better part of the day, first stopping at Tisserdimine,an oasis village for lunch. Just before sunset we mounted camels to ride into the desert to view the landscape and witness the sunset.Time
About an hour or two before sunset we set out on a caravan.Lighting
The setting sun started to show brilliant cloud formations and colors, but that was to be another image which is in my gallery.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 60D with a Tamron 28-75 mm lens,no flash,handheld.Inspiration
This particular adventure had been on my bucket list for a while-not your ordinary vacation, but worth the time and energy to get here. The images I captured was so worth the trip!Editing
No post processing-the image is presented just as I composed it.In my camera bag
I carry 2 camera bodies, the Canon 60D and a Canon T3i, with Tamron lenses-The 28-75 mm and a 10-24 mm wide.I also carry a speed lite,spare cards and batteries and a Gorilla pod.Feedback
Take full advantage of every opportunity to shoot everything and anything-the moment is a slice in time that may not reappear.
