Behind The Lens

Location

The image was shot in the garage of a car dealership. The auto was owned by the dealership owner.

Time

I had come in for servicing on my car in the early morning when i noticed it in a private bay.

Lighting

The lighting was the natural lighting in the shop.

Equipment

The camera was a Canon T3i with a Tamron 28-75 mm lens,no flash,handheld.

Inspiration

This car is a vintage model with limited production in pristine condition-When i spotted it in the bay i had to shoot It! I shot it from several angles but this one captured the grandeur and power of the vehicle.

Editing

I originally shot it in color but the impact was better in Black &White!

In my camera bag

I normally carry 2 cameras-a Canon T3i with the Tamron 28-75mm lens,and a Canon 60D with a 10-24mm lens.My bag also includes a Tamron 18-270mm lens,spare batteries and a speedlite,as well as spare SD cards.I have also added a gorilla pod as of late.

Feedback

Opportunity is everywhere for a photo op. I carry my bag on the off chance I'll see and be able to catch a moment even as mundane as getting the car to the shop to be repaired!
