Behind The Lens

Location

It was just a visit to see the beautiful sunrise on the bank of a holy river Narmada but it was unexpected that I would learn so much. The photo was clicked in Payali.

Time

Probably the best image of sun I ever clicked. The excitement of sunrise woke me up early in the morning may be around 4:30. The environment had very less influence of human thus made the scene more beautiful. This photo was clicked at approx. 6:00 in the morning.

Lighting

No use of artificial light, could not be used even if needed.

Equipment

Shot on a Nikon D3300, with 18-55mm f/3.5 lens and thats it.

Inspiration

The beauty of sunrise had always fascinated me, so it was just an experimentation of white balance with the beauty.

Editing

No post processing was needed, thought of doing but whenever I see this picture, I drop the plan as it may destroy the natural beauty of it.

In my camera bag

Nothing much, only a Nikon D3300 body and Nikon 18-55 mm and 55-200 mm lens. That's all. I am not pro so having anything more is not easy for travelling. And this much is enough for an amateur.

Feedback

Just wait for right time and remember to click in RAW format as it gives liberty to post process the photo in future and it has more details as compared to the processed image. As always said, 'Discovery requires experimentation'.
