Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, Massachusetts.

Time

This photo was taken during an afternoon tour of Tower Hill's indoor greenhouses.

Lighting

This was taken indoors with natural light coming through a window.

Equipment

This photo was taken with a Canon Powershot point-and-shoot camera while using the Macro Settings.

Inspiration

I was inspired by the complimentary colors of these flowers with the beautiful purples & bright yellow-orange centers.

Editing

I did very minimal post-processing as this photo was taken years ago when I was just getting into photography.

In my camera bag

Nowadays, I shoot with a Canon 6d with either a 50mm 1.2 or 35mm 1.4. I love my Prime Lenses! :)

Feedback

Try to play around with different angles. Get low, go high, try to add some depth by shooting through something closer to your lens. Just have fun & be creative!
