Thank you! He was having a blast playing in the snow! It was one of those time where we were laughing so hard it was difficult to keep the camera still. It's a happy memory.

Location
This photo was taken in my yard. It was a significant snow fall. Before we got to the work of clearing paths in the snow, we had to play with the dogs. This is Chico, and he loves to play!Time
It was about midday, and it was cloudy with snow falling intermittently.Lighting
There was so much light! Even with the clouds, it was very bright out. The snow was also very reflective.Equipment
I used either a Canon t2i or t3i. I used my 24-70 mm wide angle lens with a hood. Since Chico was running around all over, I had to keep the camera mobile, so not tripod.Inspiration
One of my favorite things to photograph is emotion. Chico was so happy this day! He was a rescue from a shelter. It was a small shelter, and he had little time out of his cage. When we first brought him home to our farm at 4 months old, he had to learn how to do some basic things like walking up and down stairs. The first time he was let off-leash, he ran and ran and ran until he was shaking all over. That's what he was like this day, playing in the snow. He showed so much pure joy; I had to go into the house to get the camera. This picture always makes me smile.Editing
There was very little to do with this picture. I used a little sharpening to make the disturbed snow pop.In my camera bag
I carry a Canon t2i and a Canon t3i. One has my 24-70 mm lens on at all times, and the other has the 70-200 mm. Other things include lens cleaning cloths, lens brush, a set of macro filters, external flash, batteries, flash lights, bug spray, readers, and a remote shutter release.Feedback
On this one, I was just trying to keep up with Chico.
