Taken as part of a collection called , " The Ripple Effect', focusing on images that represent the subject of ripples and the balance of cause and effect , both literally and figuratively , in the individual , in Nature and in Society. ' The Memory of Waves in Motion' , is an Abstract Nature Art Photograph featuring the slithering and individualistic patterns created by waves and tidal movement underwater left , like a memory , on the sand of the beach. This particular image was taken when both a new low tide and the natural light just before sunset occur together helping to create greater contrast between light and dark , peak and trough , and colour producing a uniform appearance of black sand and silver water . Taken on a secluded cove where the village of Llanfachraeth meets the Sea on the Isle of Anglesey off the North Wales Mainland in the UK.
