This picture was taken over Wyoming from the back of a US Air Force KC-135 out of Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota.

Time

Mid Day, early afternoon.

Lighting

Headed westbound on a clear day.

Equipment

Minolta XD-11, 35mm film camera

Inspiration

Refueling the Thunderbirds is a rare event for a KC-135 crew.

Editing

I scanned in the printed photo and brought it back to life with Lightroom.
