Believe it or not, I took this photo in my bathroom! I got these 3 shells when I was probably around 7 or 8 years old and I keep them all inside a small aquarium. Decided to photograph them for this contest and made this little arrangemente for a curious composition.Time
Late at night! I believe almost midnight, using artificial lights and a lot of experiences about how to use the curves and textures of each shell.Lighting
I used a pair of LED lights, a round and a square. Nothing special or planned about this selection, just tried to create something with this stuff and see what happens next.Equipment
My Canon 6D, 50mm russian Helios 44-2 lens series 0 and an extension tube, with a pair of LED ligths and a tripod.Inspiration
Sometimes is good to go out of your comfort zone! I decided to try photos of random objects and details I had available in my room and this one came out pretty interesting.Editing
As most of my photos, I used Lightroom to make a few adjustments on shadows and contrast only.In my camera bag
A pair of DSLR, being one full frame and a crop-sensor. Most of the time, I carry a film camera too, usually for experimental stuff. For this travel I took almost 10kg of lenses, for multiple purposes, as the cities and the short-time were always offering surprising new photo-opportunities.Feedback
It´s always a good idea try to capture a photo of simple things and stuffs. That old radio, soundboard, toy, cassetes and etc can be your best friend with a creative light and macro lens.
