Behind The Lens

Location

The building is a remnant of World War Two, a support building supporting the defensive structures built along Freiston Shore, Lincolnshire, UK.

Time

Taken at sunset. I always like to shoot landscapes in colour at either sunrise and sunset as you can't get any better light.

Lighting

I always like to shoot landscapes in colour at either sunrise and sunset as you can't get any better light.

Equipment

Nikon D800 and a Sigma 12-24mm ultra wide angle, F5.6 manual focus to infinity. Tanken on a Vanguard tripod.

Inspiration

I love dereliction, the colours and textures on old building, but also the great plough lines and tracks leading you in.

Editing

Minor post processing, vignette added.
