This photo was taken in The Czech Republic with this beautiful owl which is in human care

Time

Picture is taken in the early afternoon in autumn, deeper in the forest with nice autumn colors.

Lighting

Ural owl is one of the most beautiful owls and I wanted to have a fairytale kind of picture with nice surroundings and bokeh, using the autumn day light and colors.

Equipment

Canon 5dmIII, 400 mm 2,8f - no flash, no tripod

Inspiration

The inspiration is the owl itself - it's very beautiful and looks just like from a fairytale. It's one of my most favorite birds.

Editing

Not much post-processing done, balancing the white, the shadows and lights.

In my camera bag

As always when taking pictures I take with me, my camera, lenses from 16-35 up to 400mm, additional baterries and memory cards

Feedback

The timing is very important - the autumn weather is a bit challenging.
