This photo is from the Tanzania - Serengeti
Time
The photo was taken in the afternoon game drive
Lighting
Though it was one of the few sunny days the light was luckily not sharp, no artificial light was used, no flashes.
Equipment
Picture was taken by Canon 7D II, with 100-400mm lens, no tripod, no flash
Inspiration
This big elephant was seen from a distance so I hoped he will come closer. I wanted to have a simple photo, just the elephant in the big Serengeti plains, looking at me.
Editing
I worked a bit with the shadows and lights because of the day light - there were stronger shadows so it had to be balanced.

camera, lenses, cleaning equipment, extra memory cards and batteries
Feedback
We wanted to take the photos in Serengeti while there are still rains and the plains are not yet dry - the concentration of the animals is worse, but it shows Africa little bit differently, with plenty of green grass, rains and water all around - the colors are different and richer
