Location
The photo was taken in Paris. That's the Parisian metro. Station Gare Saint-Lazare.Time
It was pretty late, about midnight. Was trying to make it like the abandoned place :).Lighting
I was using light given by the underground metro lamps. Trying to find the best place and angle to extract lighting and shades.Equipment
This time I was using a tripod to avoid noise coming during photos done by hand.Inspiration
I was inspired by the others, jealous of the photos coming from the metro stations. I decided to have some of them in my portfolio. And to be honest, always loved architectural places. Metro is unique. It's giving the possibility to feel as abandoned, an especially late evening where everybody is at home.Editing
I just enhanced lighting and shading, making this shot B&W which suit the most in my opinion in this case.In my camera bag
Well, I use my second fellow during my travels means case logic backpack. Nothing special inside. I am not a professional. So, I use one set: NIKON D90 + Sigma 17-70. That's enough. Of course not forgetting about the snacks.Feedback
Well, if you have the possibilities to visit places try to make photos different from the one you already see on the internet. Make your place unique. There is life underground as well. Always look from something new, at least for yourself. Why do not show it to the audience? Try a different angle to get the best shot. Use the tripod to avoid vibration and noise. And shot shot shot shot to be able to choose the best shot later on at home. If not you will be regretting any second you did not spend on that. Do not give up, never. Do not lose the opportunity. You will never have the same condition. And remember that's not equipment who is making you the photographer. That's you, only you. Limited equipment is making you more creative. So, go, take the shots and share them with others.
