I love the caption. I'm always privately doing this as I look at all th photos. Can't help myself. You made me laugh.

This is an outstanding Societal photograph. It tells of his environment, culture and traditions.
Direct eye-contact are of paramount importance in an image such as this, which you have achieved with stunning results with it's exceptional detail and vibrant colors.
Could there be a better title ? I don't think so, its perfect. Congratulations on such a fine work, you should be proud.

Location
This was taken in Papua New Guinea in the Heia Province of the Tari Highlands.Time
Late to mid day of April 2013.Lighting
The light was somewhat flat due to a high cloud cover.Equipment
Shot on an Olympus TG-1, 25mm, f8, 1/500, ISO 400. Hand held.Inspiration
The Huli Wigmen had just finished giving our group a demonstration of their wig making skills and a singsing. I wanted a close up of the face to show the make up and detail of the bead work.Editing
Since the TG-1 only shoots jpeg's most of the processing was done in camera, I opened up the shadows to lighten the eyes as much as possible and added a small amount of sharping. This was done in Aperture. In my camera bag
Since this was shot I've up graded to a TG-4 which will shoot RAW. At the time my main camera was a Sony a6000 which I should have used to make this photo but the SD card was full at the time.Feedback
I had been shooting all morning on my main camera the Sony and did not have another SD card with me so had to use the TG-1. Always have a back up camera or cards with you. I should have used a bit of fill flash to lighting the eyes.
