This photo was taken in my backyard. Funny thing is that i've never paid attention to my mother's flowers to be honest, but since I bought my camera, i started to notice these little things and details around me. I just try to capture those moments and show people how i see things.Time
Well, i do my shooting mostly at night, wondering around looking for something new and exciting to shoot. Back in that night i noticed this little flower.Lighting
It may sound stupid but like Bob Ross said: "You need the dark in order to show the light.” Isn't photography all about light? I love shooting at night due to the black background, the emptiness behind the subject. I am quiet a follower of the "less is more" approach.Equipment
I've used a Canon 60D with a kit lens (18-55mm), a really basic cheap tripod and my smartphone's screen as a main light. You don't need top-of-the-line expensive equipment to compose great photos.Inspiration
This was litterally my first photo of a flower, loved it. The simplicity of nature and how beautiful it is.Editing
Actually no, i usually don't do any post-processing.In my camera bag
I usually travel with few things, only the basic stuff. I'm relatively new to photography. So i carry my 60D with 18-55mm lens, a tripod, some sd cards and a backup battery.Feedback
It's a matter of how you see the world. Get out more, wonder around your room, your house, your street, start to pay attention to what is around you, try to see them differently and soon you will be able to see wonderful and amazing things in the most basic and simple objects. Then is a matter of compose you shot and show people how you see things.
