Very nice and a different perspective than usually seen here. You did a nice job with the HDR in evening out the lighting without making it look artificial.

Location
It's a photo taken from Zabriskie Point in Death Valley National Park.Time
I got to the viewing point around 5AM. There was only one other person there at that time, but in 30 minutes there were about a dozen more. I was setup on the landing below the visitor lookout. I decided to position myself further to the left of the typical spot to get a different point of view.Lighting
There had been a full moon the night before so I knew the moon would be setting right before sunrise. You can see how bright the moon was in the photo. It actually looks like the sun setting. If you look at the mountains on the right in the background you can see the rising sunlight just starting to hit them.Equipment
I shot it with a Sony A7RII and the Sony FE 16-35 f4 zoom on a tripod.Inspiration
I've shot Zabriskie Point before but I thought there might be something different this time since there had been a full moon the night before. You usually don't want the moon out on sunrise photos but I think this came out looking quite nice.Editing
I'm a true amateur photographer so I wasn't sure what to expect. I bracketed my shots by +/- 1 EV and then used Lightroom HDR to combine them. The I adjusted the red/orange/purple saturation levels to bring out the color of the hills in the foreground. In my camera bag
I always have my Sony A7RII, the FE 16-35 f4 and the FE 55 f1.8.Feedback
Zabriskie point is probably the most popular sunrise spot in Death Valley so I didn't want to do the typical shot you see. For really popular places try to get a different perspective.
