Perfection. Sharp detail in the subject, the background perfectly complements the subject. I love this image!

My bruised and battered canon Rebel t2i did the job with my 55-250 kit lens.Inspiration
As I came home from a hike with my kids I could feel eyes staring at us through the mudroom window. I glanced out and saw those beautiful yellow eyes and we all immediately headed back outside to check the owl out. Pygmys are bold owls so we stayed quiet and moved slowly until we were face to face with this stunning creature.Editing
Just some clean edits and noise reduction on the background. The lens I used isn't ideal in the lighting conditions. In my camera bag
The best camera is the one you have with you! No matter what I have I try to make it work for me it's more about the experiences than the photos. Luckily for me this is an experience I was able to share with my young kids and one they won't ever forget and bonus! I snapped a few nice photos of our feathered friend.Feedback
Respect nature. The more you know going in the more you will get out of it
