Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my country Slovenija at a town called Šentilj where is a border between Slovenija and Austria.

Time

It was taken at night, obviousily and few years ago. I was driving around to find something iteresting to take a photo of...it was between 1am and 3am i think. After long time searching for an image i was getting tired and decided to go home and then i saw this scene...

Lighting

Nothing special about lighting...building is well lit and it was almost full moon so i was thinking it is interesting enough ...

Equipment

This photo is actually a composite of two photos...Foreground (building) was taken with Canon 500D and 18-55 kit lens on a tripod. Sky is from a differnet photo that was taken with firends nikon D800 and nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 on a tripod at our vacation in croatia...

Inspiration

I saw this amazing building and almost instantly think how amazing would look with some stars in the sky.

Editing

Yes i did some post-processing in lightroom but this is a photo from my very begining and i don't remember what i corrected. As i told you this is a composite so for masking foreground and sky together i used Photoshop CS6.

In my camera bag

My bag is allways packed the same...so Canon 6D with 24-70 f4 lens attached then there are Canon 50mm, Canon 70-300mm, Tamron 90mm lens Haida ND filter kit a Canon flashgun and some other accessories i use when shooting...

Feedback

I'm not very good at giving advices so...i would just ay never give up and stay positive and just try yourseft.
