I shot the Towers from Traders hotel on New Year's Eve, very busy time with the crowds.
I prefer this perspective, it's a clever shot loosing
the crowds. What lens / focal distance did you shot with.

I was at the Twin Towers 9 years ago and there was so much haze I would have never imagined a shot like this, beautiful

Hope you went to the Sky Bar in Traders!! Well done with the shot, it was taken from low level and catches the height perspective very well.

I love the Petronas Towers! They are a great background for F1 racing, as well as beautiful. Great capture!

I think this is my favorite image of yours! It grabs me every time I see it! It’s time to go back.

Location
in Kuala Lumpur after a good meal of hokkein meeTime
about 10pmLighting
natural light, hand heldEquipment
no tripod, no autofocus, no flash. just a manual 18mm from the early 90sInspiration
I know it had been done 100s of times but I can't stand horrible distortions. So I used a distortion free lensEditing
yes, slightly corrected the perspective in Lightroom. I think I gave it a dose of Topza denoise, too. In my camera bag
it depends. If I shoot birds in the jungle I take my 200-400 and a 1.4 tc, that also allows for dragons and similar stuff. then a 70'180 macro lens and a 24'70. the 18mm fits in my pocket. if I walk around town, i use a 135 f/2 or the 80-200 zoom and the 24-70 . If it is late i always add a 55 1.2 from the early 70s and leave the tele zoom. Again, the 18mm fits in my pocket, so does the 55mm.Feedback
relax, find the best POV, stand quietly and steadily, breath in, squeeze the shutter, relax. don't waste your time on tripods and liveview and other gimmicks. Feel the atmosphere and follow your heart. That goes for all my photos.
