Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on the so called "Waidischbach" in southern carinthia in Austria. I like this place very much because it's easy to reach and it's pure nature.

Time

It was 3pm in the afternoon. The sun was getting closer and closer to the hirizon so the light was just perfekt.

Lighting

I did not use any flash or light transformers, it's only natural light.

Equipment

I used my Sony SLT-A99 and a Sigma 20mm f1.8 lens with an Lee Bigstopper attached.

Inspiration

The whole scenery and for sure the cairn. It was there as I came to the place and waited for me ;)

Editing

Yes, the post-processing was done only in Lightroom. I raised the contrast and the colors a little bit to give the photo a bit more "punch".

In my camera bag

Most of the time there is my cam (Sony SLT-A99), a few lenses from 20mm to 180mm, a good tripod, a set of Lee filters and some helpful gadgets like a remote timer.
