Location
This photo was taken in Chinle, AZ, on the Navajo Nation Reservation, while driving to the Hope Arch. Some cows were crossing the road and we stopped so I could photograph them.Time
This was taken right around noon.Lighting
Full high noon sunlight. Supposedly the worst light for pictures. For this image, it’s perfect for the desert landscape.Equipment
I took this with my Pentax K-70 with HD f/2.8, 24-70mm Pentax Lens. Camera was handheld. No flashes or any other equipment. I literally jumped out of the car and started shooting on foot.Inspiration
The cows crossing the road inspired me to take this picture. There was only desert as far as the eye could see. I was shocked to see so many cows were living in this landscape.Editing
Yes. This is the first image I processed in my new LuminarAI software. In my camera bag
The camera and lens I used for this picture. My HD f/2.8, 35mm macro prime lens, a couple speed lights. A photo passport.Feedback
Visit the desert. Navajo Nation is an such an amazing piece of land. I could spend months exploring there.
